Hydrangea

This original painting was the first completed piece after I restarted the ABC flower series. We had just lost my mother in law who was a strong Portuguese woman that brought joy to every room she entered. On the islands where her family is from hydrangeas bloom in abundance. When I finished this painting I cried because I felt a piece of her joy had re-entered the world. 

This vibrant blue hydrangea would be beautiful to display in a bedroom or living room and would look incredible as part of a gallery wall. Hydrangeas grow especially well in costal areas and compliment nautical or costal style decor.
